we have a store local to us called "B&M"...sells all sorts at a cut price....homeware, pet food and such......lately they have been selling 36 phillips AA batteries for £3.99........yep 36 for £3.99!!!......they perform just as good as duracells!!!

heres one for you stu..........
in the first pic there are the letters "T" (with a cross line over the horizontal bar) & E" (or H)
in the second pic there are two "X"s, not that visible but they are there...ive tried to get better pics
any ideas please stu??

Hi P&E - bottom one is likely to be a cloth workers seal - the 'lug' is the rivet that pushes through the cloth and into a hole in the other flange of the seal (which has been lost on this one - there are several similar and some complete ones on the Gallery under Cloth Seal, Cloth Workers. Oft...

i would be interested to know if this is a cloth seal of some sort...... its made from two parts...both made of lead...the rear part seems to have the remnants of mounting "lugs" at 3 & 9 oclock and a front part mounted on with the letter "E"...any thoughts would be tops..che...
