Nice one, it should be said that Birmingham Museum has today opened the new Staffordshire Hoard Gallery today. Open 10 am to 5pm daily.

A friend found a similar section of a Saxon belt buckle a few weeks back.
We took a few pictures having drooled over it.
I cant even imagine what it would have been like to find and handle so many pierces as in the Staffordshire hoard.
