A lead ball found at a medieval battle site could be the oldest surviving cannonball in England, an expert says.
The damaged ball was found at the site of the Battle of Northampton fought during the War of the Roses.

Interesting that following on from a post, only a few days ago, in which there was a picture of a canon ball, which the finder thought was
entirely made from lead, and was told that it more than likely had an iron core.
Not sure where the person lives, but, it does show that solid lead ones were used.

I used to have an issue regarding having an inferiority complex, I no longer have an issue with being inferior.
