A RARE £1 coin dating back to the English Civil War has fetched more than £50,000 at auction.

The solid silver Declaration Pound dates back to 1643 and was struck in Oxford, which was then a newly forged seat of power for Charles I after he left London.

Sadly, this could never happen to a modern pound coin.
I used to have an issue regarding having an inferiority complex, I no longer have an issue with being inferior.
