will the drivers work for all your old periperals or will you have to buy a new lot ? risky as makers see it as an avenue to sell new products ,been had before and my scanner wont work with 7 only xp ,now lies gathering dust even though its good

Quite looking forward to its release. I hope it lives up to the hype this time.

Just done a standard Windows update. A small windows icon appeared on the bottom line on screen. I clicked on it and the preorder screen popped up. Just enter your email to pre-register for Windows 10.

I had the same problem ageezer with my old but brilliant Epson perfection 3200 photo scanner, I purchased a third party programme called VueScan about £20? if I remember right and it works ok since, couple of years :g58: :g50:

Apparently the final version of Windows.
It won't have service packs, but will be continually upgraded.

Rather then the 16th July its saying the 28th July (edit its the 29th of July not the 28th) and no doubt the servers will be jammed on that day with everyone trying to do the download?
