A COUPLE holidaying on the Isle of Wight have uncovered a piece of its ancient history on Sandown Beach.

Christopher and June Preece, from Banbury, Oxfordshire, came across a small copper alloy knife in early July thought to date from the Bronze Age, circa 1000 to 800BC.
They also found a button from the seventeenth century.
Deus, XP GMP, CS 4Pi, Canon 450d, Garmin GPS, PAS Self Recorder.
Hamster Count 55. Then so far this year 0 to the Deus.
Denarius Count 7. Then so far this year 0.

Looks more like an axe than a knife.

Well done them, but, as MTB has said, it looks more like an axe.
I used to have an issue regarding having an inferiority complex, I no longer have an issue with being inferior.
