As you all hopefully know, we have a gallery attached to the forum, its link is in the header on the right hand side.

First add an image
Once in the gallery select the required period and add your image and any descriptive text.

After you have uploaded your pic (These can be pretty damn big now, but please do try to crop them where possible and save as either jpg or png), you will be able to view it in "your pictures".

Adding your image to a post
Then, when making a post, to include you new image, view the image page and copy the album bbcode :

Paste this code into your new post e.g. in pictures of your finds.


This will show a thumbnail automatically of your image and allow people to view the gallery page for the image, rate it and leave comments.



The image when clicked will take you to a new page (try the one below)


This will remain visible then in all the posts whereas images hosted on photobucket may be removed breaking the context of the posts.
This will also randomly display your image in the portal and gallery pages giving more people a chance to envy your finds

You need to put your request in the 'Please ID my finds' section, click on the link below to go there and then click on 'New Topic' and enter your request. Add the photo via the upload attachments part at the bottom of the page.
