Re: ....when metal detectorist go rogue
again, very sad when you consider that well over 90% of all treasure finds, yearly, are from metal detectorists. fully reported and declared.

TECT O TRAK software
Hi guys just passing on an app that I recently downloaded on my phone. Check it out. It teams where you have been on your land and allows you to record locations of your finds and a picture as you find it. I have used for the last couple of weeks and it works a treat, once you have sussed it out. Sa...

Re: Deus lite
I have the lite with wrist band attachment that allows me to see the numbers, which I find helpful. I also tend to turn the decrim down to 20 when in progress 2 or 3. It all depends on how much rubbish is in your ground. I am lucky that most of my land is pretty clean. I will be watching this thread...

Re: old VLF Cscope
I started with an ace250. Excellent first machine. I picked up a used one for £125, used it for a year and when I upgraded I sold it for £110.
They hold their value very well as they are a very, sort after, first machine.
Good luck.

If you go for a very cheap one it is more difficult to play and the sound is not so good so it puts you off learning to play and you give up early, disappointed. Try to go for lower mid range guitar ( or detector) and the results will be better a...

Re: First Detector thoughts
Xp adx150 is simple to use and can be picked up for less than £300. Also can be used with wireless headphones. I had great finds with mine although it does struggle with cut halves and quarters. Goes nice and deep working on a low frequency.
I used it as a step up to the deus ( got used to the tones)
