I have the lite with wrist band attachment that allows me to see the numbers, which I find helpful. I also tend to turn the decrim down to 20 when in progress 2 or 3. It all depends on how much rubbish is in your ground. I am lucky that most of my land is pretty clean. I will be watching this thread...

I started with an ace250. Excellent first machine. I picked up a used one for £125, used it for a year and when I upgraded I sold it for £110.
They hold their value very well as they are a very, sort after, first machine.

Xp adx150 is simple to use and can be picked up for less than £300. Also can be used with wireless headphones. I had great finds with mine although it does struggle with cut halves and quarters. Goes nice and deep working on a low frequency.
I used it as a step up to the deus ( got used to the tones)
