It is very similar to the candle holder, but compared to the other examples the slot doesn’t look long enough and there is no cross hole either.
It could possibly be some sort of tap cover also.
I’ll let you know if I get more info on it.

Found this piece of bronze. It is flat on one side and peaked on the other. It measures approx 9mm in height at the top of the peak. It is approx 34mm at it's widest point and tapers down.

Is there any thing specific that denotes the second button as a woman's livery button, such as the crest within the lozenges?

I read somewhere the lozenge denotes a woman’s crest, but also that the woman is unmarried.
