Its not all bad, you can get to choose the different date maps where as before you couldnt and only had the choice given you. Granted its not so easy to save the maps for editing in another program like it used to be (it can still be done...), but you cant have everything I guess.

Commons & public rights of way

Here's a great website that will list most of the common land & public rights of way for England, apparently Wales is to do similar. The Countryside Agency is preparing maps of all open country and registered common land in England (the Countryside Council for Wales is carrying out the same task...
