so in short.......they can legally do what the want with a donated item. i found this bit thought provoking! "If however no museum is able to accept the material then secondary means will be investigated such as selling or discarding ." i wonder how that works then? consigned to the neares...

from a museum stance it all depends on whether it is accredited by the Art Council or not, if not then i would be able to set its own standards, i.e. do what it likes with its own collection.....moral, before you "donate" or of you have anything going through the Treasure process that gets...

if you dont lie it nor get on with it john, you have the ability to restore it back to your last version but only within the first 30 days, otherwise unless you have the W8.1 disc you will be stuck with it. me, i am getting to quite like this and think its a much needed improvement, having said that...

I have lost my ASUS Smart Gesture though which is to do with my touch pad, not bothered about it though because it was a royal pain in the dooh-dars.

apparently as i dont have the "windows 10 app icon" on the right on my tool bar i am stuffed, i have done all possible to try and get it back, i am on the correct version of windows 8.1, system fully up to date, i have done a trouble shoot..........nada, grrrrr!!!
