Re: Using a SatNav (TomTom One XL) to GPS your finds

Thanks for the distance reading Baza :g50: I think they are fantastic, I used to spend ages planning a route to somewhere and having no one to read it to me in the car I had to keep putting my specs on and trying to read as I drove  , and if you took a wrong turn you could get really lost. Re: PAS Conference Agenda pdf

I was under the impression this conference was being run by the CBA, and not the PAS ? I still wish I could be there, I do like these events. Poor choice of title by me, could someone change it to 'CBA & ICCHS' please (CBA & International Centre for Cultural Heritage Studies). http://www.br...

Re: 10 fig BNG refs from GE v5 without conversion

The 'nearby' should file should appear in 'temporary places', at the bottom of 'places', there should be boxes for 1k & 10k grid lines and a box for 'center point' which if you check should display the NGR on the screen next to the place mark. The slider is if it's set up like mine for fading ou...

Re: 10 fig BNG refs from GE v5 without conversion

Mark your find spot with a place mark. Double clicking on a find spot place mark should centre it in the middle of the screen so the 'center point' NGR can be read off using the Nearby gridlines feature above. If it does not centre automatically when you double click on it then, right click on it, c...
