a friend of mine had been detecting a beach for yrs and every large lump of rusty steel he found he put in one area of the disused beach to clean it up so he could detect - it was in the papers that a pile of bombs had been found and they could not explain how they had all been found in the same pla...

seems like lots of detectorists are searching woods - with it as a local beauty spot i wonder if he had permission, lets hope so.

at least they have him now for questioning.
