I bag the find with the 10 fig find spot, date, weight and dims on the bag and hand it to the PAS, they give me a paper record and there is an electronic record on their secure database.
I download the GPS data on to Google Earth for my own record and research purposes.

Downloading this file creates a white arrow in the centre of the Google Earth screen which if you click on it gives the view in Flash Earth where the image may be of a different date. It seems ok to me to use for waypoints and paths, shame you can't rename the waypoints though.
