Re: girl digs up bomb with metal detector

To be fair to the woman, it looked nothing like a bomb. Rather pointless calling the bomb disposal, and closing the area off. Unless they thought there may be more. And, if I had blown her a--e, would that have made it right. Her daughter found it, with a metal detector, what more did the silly bit...

detector stttings

Do we have, or could we have a section which covers settings for various detectors, not the factory settings, but those which fellow users work with, the manual settings. I am a comparatively new Deus Lite user, and although I do "tweak" it whilst out using it, it would be good to be able ...

Re: undervalued..

Also, here we have a situation, which some of our detractors will hone in on. Metal detectorists love to spout on about just how much we contribute to our past history, and all done for nothing. Yet, time and time again, when a find goes for valuation, folk crib about it being undervalued. We in the...

Re: Green Waste "whats Happened"

Sure the organisations do have punch, but, as has been shown in the past, unity and determination can break down barriers. It is not necessary to put certain groups up as all impo...

Re: How much to watch the BBC

We need to cut the licence out altogether, and rely on advertising to sustain television broadcasting. The BEEB along with the other companies pay huge sums of our money to all kinds of sports, in order to show the stuff, but, they all make money out of doing so. The only losers are you, and you , y...

There really isn't enough of it to make such claims. It would be a nice find if it could be proven, but, I fear it will not be.
