Let's all remember that this is about getting companies to change their methods of ecreening, not to get them to go out of business. All we want are cleaner fields when this waste is spread on them.

Has anyone thought about the soil association yet? Also Prince Charles would certainly be concerned about such practices, so a letter off to the Duchy of Cornwall would not go amiss.

That's a good point John, although this stuff may get spread onto ploughed fields they do go through a crop rotation, so eventually they'll end up with their livestock on such fields, if they have a mixed economy farm, or they change from cereal to pastoral later on. Not sure that it would Phil, archaeologists tend to remove the topsoil and then start digging once they're on the plough-pan. It may be interesting to see if it affects geophysics, though unless its iron I doubt that too! In a way this works in their favour, though they'd certainly not want to see t...
