Help with new camera please

Hi can anyone help me with this please.My daughter has just got a new camera which came without a flash card (its like buying a TV without the plug)The question is it needs a "micro SDHC" card but they come in classes,which is the best class to get? :g43:

class 4 or higher for a camera, depending on the camera's video capability it may need a higher class, but for most 12mp stuff, class 4 should be sufficient.

Amazon do some good cards for less than ebay, and it's genuine rather than fake. Amazon are also about 1/3rd the cost of pc world/dixons etc. - Is it really "micro" ? thats normally reserved for phones, I guess if its a very compact camera though...

Samsung only guarantee that the camera will address cards up to 8gb, so don't go too mad on an expensive one.

as long as you get a genuine one a class 4 or 6 will be fine they are widely available in most large supermarkets and that is possibly a better route than buying over the net .as you know its genuine .class 10 is for the high speed dslr or high speed video cameras i.e my camera shoots at around 7 frames per second so it needs a fast card ,yours won't

6-10 for hi-speed like video. class 4 for just one photo at a time
