Came across this website that lets you generate measurement scales you can print out for using when photographing finds:

That's listed on the toolbar You have to print them a certain way to be accurate.

I did the same as Tom and Tim. Cheap enough but the postage was a killer!!!!!

On a similar subject, I bought a couple of sets of these calipers a while back when Lidl
were doing them for about £7 each.

The batteries seem to last longer if you remove them after use.
Where is the bast place to get hold of the digital scales, for weighing small finds ?
