Re: PAS Conference 2015 registration
Hi Phil,
Rob Webley is PASt Explorers Project Officer for In House Volunteers. Helen Geake is PASt Explorers Project Officer for Remote Volunteers. They are probably your best port of call.

Re: PAS Conference 2015 registration
Thanks Clive
Several different names have been suggested so far, so I have just sent an email to Susan Raikes asking who I should contact with PAS policy issues.
I will flag it up when I get a reply.
Wow Susan doesn't hang about, reply;
Dear Phil
Thank you very much for your message.
Please send your suggestions to Michael Lewis who is Head of Portable Antiquities and Treasure here at the British Museum and is best placed to be able to respond on questions of policy. I have copied him into this email so that you have his email address. There are also metal detecting representatives on the PAS Advisory Group to ensure that detectorist views are represented and Michael will be able to tell you more about that. Your FLO is also able to pass questions on to us at any time of course
I hope that this is helpful
With thanks and best wishes

They are my personal thoughts on improving PAS outreach John, I don't wish to post them on the forum, they are not for general discussion.

Re: PAS Conference 2015 registration
Fair do`s. Sadly the lack of resource in the majority of PAS local offices is likely to scupper any ideas hence the launch of PAStexplorers....being volunteer based, inclusive and contributing on many levels its fortunate to qualify for Heritage Lottery funding.

Re: PAS Conference 2015 registration
Was there a video being made of the conference or any talk of a publication on what went down?

Re: PAS Conference 2015 registration
There may be recordings of the individual presentations Phil as the speakers were asked if they were ok with that. If so I will make sure you get a copy. There was also talk of transcripts being made available for some of the presentations............ditto letting you know..........

Clem is probably in a darkened room with a damp cloth over her face after spending months organizing the PAS Conference on Monday............................Deetektor wrote:I sent an email to Clemencey on Tuesday.
