Police in Essex are investigating reports that a lion has been spotted in a field near St Osyth.

Seems a bit strange that no one has reported "mislaying" a lion. :g43:

Still don't think I would go out in the middle of a field, on my own with just a mini shovel for protection. You never know.

Well I have just come back from 4 days detecting/camping at a place called White Knotely which is apparently not far or at least thats what I was told, from the sighting! Before we all turned into our tents for the night we were told it was sighted just two miles from our site that day :g40: So as a precaution I left nice chunky lumps of steak outside all the other tents ...just in case.
And in any case if he had eaten me they would of captured it easily as it would of been somewhat drunk :g42:

Have you shower not got a Zoo in your Part of the country ?? , The Lion was a Tabby with a little yellow in its coat , I can just see 20 detectorists screaming and running out of the field because there is a field mouse on the loose :hahaha: .
