Geminid Meteor Shower.

Post by Deetektor »

The Geminid meteor shower peaks tonight.

I don't think I shall be outside for too long, even if the sky does clear.

More or less right overhead, and late evening is supposed to be the peak time
(after 11pm)
Although you could see them at any time. Weather forecast isn't good though.

I've given up bothering to look whenever theres a event such as this because it always seems to be cloudy whenever its due, whatever the time of year..or in this case foggy :g58:

I've only ever seen meteor showers twice in my 66 years and on both occasions we have had deaths in the family shortly afterwards ..don't think I'll be bothering.
