Just heard via John Winter on Face Book
I regret to report that Trevor Austin, General Secretary of the NCMD, passed away this evening. We send condolences to his family this time. Please don't contact them at the moment.

Can only add my condolences to Trevors family & friends. He was a true gentleman and gave selflessly for the benefit of many others and will be greatly missed by his NCMD colleagues.

That's really sad news, I had an email from him only a few weeks ago. My thoughts are very much with his family and friends.

Trevor was huge ambassador for the hobby and respected by all who met him. He will be missed greatly. For those who did not know him, here he is doing what he loved best.

Having met Trevor for the first time in 1984 he had that wonderful gift of making you feel very much at home and was warm and generous. I always liked meeting him at the dozens of rallies up the years.
