Interesting article. I have a problem with excavating graves. Seems a bit disrespectful. I must be getting old.

I also feel uneasy.

But 'they' call it progress.

Near where I live, ancient and medieval history seems to have been overlooked simply in order to build even more wind farm pylons.

I agree with both of you, and would prefer that ancient, in fact any, graves should be left undisturbed.

If it really is in the interest of gaining knowledge, then let those vested with the task use suitable tech'
in order to recover such information, whist allowing the grave to remain "as is".
We already know from seeing artefacts how old they are, from that we learn about the skills which were
in use, and the tools that were around. Do we really need to know the age, sex, colour, and creed of
the individual ?
I used to have an issue regarding having an inferiority complex, I no longer have an issue with being inferior.

I also agree with the above sentiments, I hope in years to come they don,t dig up my grave to see which undies I was buried in and if I used sensodyne toothpaste to keep my teeth healthy :g43:
