This brings back memories to me.
I did just that when my dog Sam, swallowed a compass with a small wrist loop still attached.
Over a day or so, I followed it from the front to the rear end with my Garrett probe.
All it needed was a disinfected wash.
My great grandson Jack who had terminal with cancer at the time found the whole experience hilarious.
I gave him the compass as a keepsake and when he passed away it was returned to me.
Just thought I would share this true story with you. Jerry.

What did you do ? Push the probe down
I used to have an issue regarding having an inferiority complex, I no longer have an issue with being inferior.
