Man Finds Almost Perfectly Preserved 600 Year Old Sword By Accident

A construction worker has found an amazingly well-preserved sword thought to be 600 years old.

The man, who has worked in near the town of Hrubieszow, Poland, for the past 15 years, found the sword, which experts reckon dates back to the late 13th or mid-14th century, while he was draining a peat bog.

The weapon has been almost perfectly preserved, aside from the hilt, and the unnamed builder/Indiana Jones wannabe has donated it to the Stanisław Staszic Museum.
