UK woman hires diver to fly to Majorca and rescue heirloom ring she lost while on holiday
A distraught holidaymaker who lost her precious diamond ring in the Mediterranean wept tears of joy after a metal detecting diver found it six days later.
Katie Patterson, 24, was devastated when her £10,000 family heirloom slipped from her finger as she paddled on a beach in Majorca.
The medical student returned home without it, but decided to spend £1,000 to fly a metal detecting specialist back to the Spanish island to help recover the ring.

My goodness George Edmunds, author of three books on Captain Kidds treasure, he had a detecting shop in S.Wales many years ago.
