Sad news, R.I.P now David. Condolences to his family and friends.
I used to have an issue regarding having an inferiority complex, I no longer have an issue with being inferior.

A wonderful guy and someone who I had a lot of time for. He was always there to help and had a dry but wicked sense of humour. He will be much missed by archaeologists and detectorists alike. RIP David, you were taken far too soon. :g48:

I am very sad about the loss of David over the years I knew him we became very good friends, I used to enjoy the visits to various Surrey archaeological society digs with him, he was a very knowledgeable man with so much to offer if you were prepared to listen and learn.

That`s sad news.I never met David but his popularity speaks volumes. 67 is no age these days.
