Thanks for the interesting read Lee and they said the Romans never went any further West than Exeter - how wrong they were :g58: :g50: This very important site at Ipplepen was also found by a metal detectorist :g38: :g50:

The Romans certainly travelled as far west as St. Just in Penwith, i.e. west of Penzance,
and fairly close to Lands End. They are known to have been in several parts of Cornwall, including the Porthreath area, Gwithian, Hayle, and on down, as well as numerous places
close to the South coast.
I used to have an issue regarding having an inferiority complex, I no longer have an issue with being inferior.
