They are massive. A landowner I know has a pair hanging in his shooting room which came over from Ireland over 100 years ago. You have to see them to truly appreciate jus how big these animals were..

Your a lucky man to see one of these up close manny... I guess my best option is going to be popping along to the natural history museum.

Had the day off today so I took myself up to the natural history museum to see the blue whale, but while I was there I took a look at the Megaloceros giganteus with the set of antlers weight in at around 40 kgs... :shock:
