Cambridgeshire is rich with archeaology spanning just about every period. Rich soil, flat landscape and plenty of water it must have been a haven for early habitation.
Just a footnote... I see the archies are out in the middle of a field wearing high vis and hard hats! I gave up construction when I got ticked off by a health and safety Hitler who strutted into a wide open field miles from nowhere to tell me to wear a hard hard hat or leave the site. I left and never went back.
