Even the plague as we were taught about it, changed completely before it done its greatest amount of
damage to life, and that part of it started in a terrace of houses in Suffolk. I believe the village of Shotley was the place.

This was mentioned in a recent TV program on the subject.

I've had a quick Google and it seems the Shotley plague was between 1906 to 1907 with it popping up again in 1910 very close by... :g56:
