It's a right old ponderer for sure
They don't look like they have been in salty water for too long though, to me anyway. In my experience copper or bronze coins don't get a green patina in the salty sand. I could be proved wrong of course

Yep, something not right there...
I don't recall reading any written Roman histories involving the conquest of the Americas...
it would be interesting to know how they've turned up there? Certainly and discussion point and something to think about...

Well it is from Fox News the 'inventer' of such things.
I think it is a typo.....it should have said "Treasure hunter finds possible Roman coins on
eBay Area"
