Interesting read Lee but always remember the academics always said the Neanderthals were wiped out by Cromagnam man but with the advances in DNA they have found strands of Neanderthal in modern British people especially in the North of the country. Makes you think!!!

Agreed grumpyjohn... I am not being funny but I remember a Alice Roberts programme about early human DNA and the redheads (ginger gene) have a higher percentage of Neanderthal DNA, from memory 10 times more likely!

Short well 5'11", stocky heavy boned (not fat... ) little bit ginger and a flat nose like a pug, blimey the other half is a lucky lady... I'm one proud Neanderthal...
