This time of year rabbits are active , but I guess if you want to ban detecting you have to blame metal, detectorists

True Benjamin Bunny is active now but it's easy for us to blame the Bunny the Badger etc... we all know it's goes on and since Mackenzie's detectorist it's gotten alot worse! I've worked as a Estate Gardener for 27 years and now manage an estate. The same as most of these rangers for these areas also I can imagine, so I'm guessing they will be experienced enough to tell the difference between mammal and manmade holes! Granted it would be nice to see photographic evidence in the incriminating articles!

This one shows it quite well...

Was detecting on a farm today , bit of meadow as cows are still in the sheds , the size of some of those holes and fresh soil, not sure if it was badges or foxes , but plenty of fresh holes and soil ,if I had my phone with me , would have taken some pictures ,

Trouble is people are uneducated in the law,i don't mean retarded Neanderthals but don'r realise you have to have permission in general,i was out this weekend and spoke to numerous people who said they want to earn extra cash and named some places where they want to go once they have a machine. They were quite deflated after i had drilled some home truths into them :hahaha:
