METAL DETECTING FIND DECLARED AS TREASURE

A medieval silver brooch unearthed near Stroud has officially been declared as treasure by the county coroner.

The 14th Century silver gilt brooch, was found by metal detecting enthusiast Robin Marsland in Bisley, Stroud, and inspected by the British Museum, an inquest heard.
