Thanks Baldric,
Great read, I went there about 5 years ago & would recommend all of you going, not only to the stone circles but the many tombs as well, some just have a torch in a box outside & you just walk in, very spooky. :clap :clap

You must be a very trusting lot to leave a torch in a box, would'nt last 5m round here.

Best way to be, as for the tombs, one of them you had to lay on your back on a trolley & pull yourself through a low passage, when through you shine th torch straight at skulls all around you.
I am 6ft & those standing stones dwarfed me, they are so impressive it is hard to put into words, I am hoping to go back later this year or April next year I`ll take my digital camera to give you a better idea of it all.
