It's a lovely place to walk around, albeit a bit "touristy", but I suppose we become part
of that when we visit. Plenty of opportunities to purchase jet, and to eat fish and chips.
The most well known one being the "Magpie". You have to queue for a table in busy
periods.
Then either drive or walk to the abbey. One interesting point, if you buy a parking ticket
to stop at the abbey, that ticket can also be used in the town (check first though).
Support the PAS
You know it makes sense

I enjoy a walkabout there, always amazes me how long the queue can be for the Magpie. The Whitby kippers are said to be very good too :g58:
