I think the picture resolution is better myself.

Select live local with labels and if you place the location of your find over the cross in the centre you can read off the long and lat.

Google Earth won't work with Windows 98 (so it tells me when i try) but flashearth works for some reason.

The basic maps i.e. Bournemouth are the same as google earth, (my cars are in exactly the same positions!) but its his res coverage is far more extensive!

Nice one

Your very restricted to how close you can get but, when you change to live local, i can actually see my house whereas Google earth still needs to update the area.

Its a damn shame you can save this info unless you use 'print screen'... :(

Thanks mate, it's just experimental at the moment but it looks to have lot's of possibilities, very easy to drag and zoom.

No right click and save images yet, only print screen as Marcsdigs says, but if it's successful I would imagine it will have the usual options.

Nice one Marcsdigs :g50:

Just noticed if you hold down the left key on laptop, you can drag around the N S E or W on the compass and rotate the view :g21:

If anyone wants a excellent close up of a region who hasn't got GoogleEarth or Flash Earth because of slow Internet connection, I'd be pleased to help anyone. Either an overlay for Google or just a picture of their chosen area.
ALL DETAILS WILL BE KEPT SECRET FROM OTHERS!! even if they offer me mega bucks :)
Ill post this in another topic too.
