Just clicked on my Google Earth icon and it seems I am now getting Google Earth Pro.

I haven't signed upto any agreement so it's now either free or I'm getting it on trial?

It looks image quality wise much better than G E did on Windows 10 and the tiny toolbar icons on Windows 10 are much bigger now.

Has anyone else been upgraded for free?

Yes, I have, mainly because it enables you to download far higher resolution images.

I have had pro on my computer for ages but it was a free download, and no attempt to charge me at all at a later date I had them both on until recently the normal google earth just vanished off my desktop a couple of weeks back
