OPEN CS Dig Sat 1st April

Post by GillEvans »

Hi all

Just to let you know we have a dig this weekend in Cambs we on 100 acres of wheat crop to search this weekend which has been deep ploughed since our last visit

This land has produced in the past some rare and outstanding finds, including some silver Celtic units a full and a quarter Stater, a guinea, Denari, Bronze Age tools, a Viking brooch, Saxon stirrup mount, a stunning dagger pommel 3 sceats etc

If you are interested in coming along then please email me for details at centralsearchers@ntlworld.com

PS
Please note we are sorry to have to do this but as from the 1st April 2017 there will be some changes in Membership Fees and Dig Prices

To join Central Searchers and renew as a Club member the cost is being reduced to £25 a year. Hopefully an incentive for more people to join.

Dig Prices however will be rising Club Members will now pay £13 a dig and non members will be £20

We hate having to put dig prices up but there are so many clubs out there now that are paying farmers more than what we can afford at present so we have had to increase the price to enable us to compete with other clubs in what we can offer the farmer as an incentive to obtain new land.

Gill
