Thanks Brian
If it's agreed to give Steve's project a plug in the magazine I will contact StuE and get his permission to plug the bag seals at the same time, we would then need to write and agree the text plugging them both.

Any plug that gets more pictures of seals is fine with me
I have added a link to UKDN to the Gallery as it's only fair after all the seal pictures I've had from members on here.

It certainly is - the Gallery is in a transition phase at the moment so this is a good place to 'store' seals I can't add at the moment. I think you already know it is the inner discs from a four disc alnage seal of Queen Anne -
http://www.bagseals.org/gallery/main.ph ... g2_page=17 I dont have one with a lion rampant on yet
Diameter and place found would be good.

Time for a revised edition! No - there are about 2000 cloth seals on the Gallery - the book's big enough already!

Hi Stue, my find details, 1.5cm. diameter, found on land in Wiltshire near Salisbury plain. I hope that helps.
