Hi all,just a Quicky 1st day on new permission today found quite abit of coke ,I know that's all in the game but Id just like to know how does it end up in the field , is it burt there or transported to the field . Cheers

I have a feeling some of it got there from the traction engines that were used in the fields?

We seem to find small pieces of coal rather than coke here - but all give a signal! Managed to suss most of it now using full tones with the Deus So do not tend to dig much at all now thank heavens

With the Deus Lite, as with many other detectors, you should be able to Disc Out coke under most circumstances. Check you manual, to find out how they say it may affect other possible finds, and strike a medium, so that you do not miss " diggable" items. Good luck, but you will do it.

One of our farmers told us that when coal gas was in production in nearly every town. The resulting coke and slag was sold to farmers as a soil improver? As we now know coke does not break down in the soil and to be honest is yet another form of so called green waste that has ended up on the fields as soil improvers!!!!
