Effect of metals in soils

Post by PhilD »

Aluminium isn't listed with the other metals, presumably as it's not considered to be toxic according to Wiki.

That is strange because some aluminium, mainly from engine castings seem to corrode considerably forming a blue/white powder? I am no expert but it does not look very edible :g43:

Hi. All. If you have an hour to spare read this It is a bit on the heavy side and not for the feint hearted.

My apologies . I asked a question and got this as an answer ,why use a few words when a few thousand will do.
The best way to read this is to read quickly picking out the bits you understand and you get a good picture of just what what Alluminum is and where it is found or used . The very end part is Interesting .
By the way, I understood about 15% of it but it still gives a good impression as to what Alluminum is and does.
