Re: 38 degrees
just had this email from the 38degrees -
Hi Steven,
Thanks for getting in touch about the issue of contaminated green waste. There's a couple of ways you can take your campaign idea forward:
1. There's a new part of the 38 Degrees site where members can set up and run their own campaigns - it's called Campaigns by You. It's there to give members the opportunity to campaign on all the hundreds of really important issues, both local and national, that we all care about - far more than the small office team could ever manage alone. If you feel really passionately about this issue, why not start a campaign? It only takes a couple of minutes - you can get started here:
http://you.38degrees.org.uk/petition/new
2. As you know, 38 Degrees is a member driven organisation - this means an official 38 Degrees campaign is only launched with the support of other members. It would be good to engage other members in a discussion about your idea to find what they think and whether they support it as an official 38 Degrees campaign.
The best way to do this is via the 38 Degrees Uservoice website, http://38degrees.uservoice.com/forums/7 ... uggestions or Facebook page which is actively used by members all the time:http://www.facebook.com/peoplepowerchange.
You can also keep up to date with which campaigns are running by following 38 Degrees on twitter: http://twitter.com/38_degrees or on the blog: http://blog.38degrees.org.uk/
Thanks for being involved,
Imogen & the 38 Degrees team
