Apologies for being late to this one but I've had computer problems :g64:

It looks like I have an error on my website as I didn't notice the cross so I'll correct that soon, sorry for any hassle caused and thanks to DiOz for sorting it out.
There are a few Dugdales mentioned on line as coming from Whitchurch, one is Rev. Sydney Dugdale and there is a altar memorial to a Lt C F Dugdale in Whitchurch church of St Alkmund.
If you can say what is written on the reverse we may be able to date the button and thereby who was most likely to have commissioned the it :g50:

Thanks again DiOz and Kev. Unfortunately the back is completely corroded, I can see there was writing there but I can't make any of it out. I hope I find more livery buttons, the amount of information they provide is great and they look good too.

Possibly for the Holt family from Aston Hall, I'll have a better look when I have more time Barry. Can you confirm what is written before 'Aston' if possible please? http://www.myfamilysilver.com/crestfind ... ?name=holt

I think it says LOWER GROUNDS ASTON.

There's a HOLTE HOTEL token that also has a squirrel and LOWER GROUNDS ASTON on it.

Aston Lower Grounds
The most beautiful pleasure grounds in the Midland counties, cover 31 acres, and were originally nothing more than the kitchen and private gardens and the fish-ponds belonging to Aston Hall,
etc. (Written in 1888.) Click Here
