Disc-on-pin brooches/buckles
I am currently researching the enigmatic Medieval disc-on-pin or disc-on-tongue brooches/buckles. These objects are a real mystery and have not been studied in any detail. I will be writing up and publishing my research eventually, and this is a request for information or pictures of any of these that you have found whilst detecting. This is what they look like. Basically they are an annular brooch/buckle with a pin constriction in the frame but also most have a crossbar attached across the middle of the frame. The pins have a widened, circular or lozenge-shaped central part, sometimes with studs in. There are a few different types.
Any finds of the frames and/or the pins would be very useful for my research.
Here are a few examples to show what I am after..............
Any with plates attached especially interesting. Thanks in advance.

The top picture is of two brooch "pins" found within 10 yards of each other on a medieval site about 8 years ago, the bottom pic was taken from the net to show how the pins would look in situ
