Having had a couple of George I halfpennies come up in the past year this site is invaluble for finding coins have you scratching your head. Both mine were so corroded that all I had to go on was "pointy neck bit" and "big pointy nose" on the monarchs portrait
Irish coins generally have a harp on but if that is often illegible/corroded on copper coins.
