book wanted

im looking for a book published in 1840 (ish) called "the history and annals of northallerton ".
local library has a copy in its reference section but i cant take all the stuff i need to the library and the library wont let me borrow the book which makes doing my research awkward so if you happen to come across a copy during your travels please pm me :g50:

I would have been interested in a copy myself if they were cheaper.

My mrs.family come from n.allerton so would have been a nice present.

WHSmith also have an online, old books site. It is well worth a visit, as their prices can be much better than some of the smaller dealers.

I once wanted a book called, Watchers on the Longships, and found an amazing difference in price. (anyone interested in the history of West Cornwall would find this a good read.)

thanks for all your help and after a little more searching found the entire book online on this US site http://www.us.archive.org/GnuBook/?id=h ... aywiala#17. if you get the 162 meg beta version and press pause you can read the entire book for free by scrolling down .
