E.H. have a job to do, and, we may not all agree with some of the comments in the report.
However, let us not byepass anything which is good about them.
Several years back I needed some information, and decided to contact E.H., and made the mistake of making it known that I had done so. I was ripped to pieces on one of the fora, but, can say that, English Heritage were most helpful, giving me more than I expected, as well as thanking me for contacting them in the first place.
The person I had contact with commented that, it was so unusual for a metal detectorist to be in touch, and that he wished more would do so.
Believe it or not, we share a common interest, HISTORY.

I used to have an issue regarding having an inferiority complex, I no longer have an issue with being inferior.
