There was 1017 Denarii altogether, but there are problems, the FLO did not turn up, so they dug them out themselves, with the farmers permission, the area is plagued with night hawks, so the general opinion is they took the right choice. The archeologists have been and checked out the dig site and agree nothing was compromised or taken out of context.
